WELCOME TO MY LEAPS

THERE IS A force within us. It leads to exploration of life’s mosaic in different ways. It leads us to leap into unknowns and leads us to a vision of our inner selves. The book is a description of a life-long gallery of events which began with a child, born in the middle of WWII, who finds she has a growing desire to succeed on her own. We travel with this medical doctor as she grows up in the Communist country of Yugoslavia, then builds her new life in England, Sweden and the USA, sharing the painful and joyful stages of her triumphs and tragedies. It is an intimate exploration of many events with powerful descriptions of journeys to self discovery triggered by unforeseen forces: career paths, divorce, moving to new countries, finding new relationships and her mother’s death—events shattering her life and leading to a spiritual awakening, self discovery and the power of connection between soul and mind.

Tales of the Leap has been translated and published inSerbian Language and reviewed by Milovan Vitezović, a Serbian writer, professorand screenwriter.

    Review translated from original Serbian:
"Tanya Webster's book "Turn the Page and MoveForward" is a literary omnibus of one’s life. Written as a memoir, confessional, it tells the whole history of her life from Belgrade,Dalmatian, Bulgarian to the present day in America. In a special way, thisbook is also a travelogue of the places where the author lived and visited. Thewonderful descriptions of London, England, then Sweden, and Canada
are tied into one solid storytelling unit.
The theme of the book is her life motto "I RememberLove". Simply said, love keeps her family, relationships with mother, grandmother, father, brother ... Love for medicine makes her seek the best andgreatest knowledge in medicine in England,at research medical centers in Swedenand America.Love is the basis of her relationships and finding, at last, love in marriage.A new page was always turned as it moves on to a new life, a new hope. The book is full of extraordinary descriptions of places, life situations, personalities, their relationships, and the emotion of theauthor is one that is in perpetual dialogue with her race to make the rightdecision. These constant moves and numerous trips, are always the search forthe new; new hope, new friends, or renewing old acquaintances and friendships.Beautiful are the descriptions of the landscapes she travels, and above all the
numerous connections with her family whose thread weaves throughout her life.
This unique memoir is full of scenes as viewed in a
kaleidoscope, a guide to others, and how solutions can always and must be found
in life. She promotes her solution, which is the love she finds again as her
    ultimate peaceful harbor."
